How to invite friends and groups
Invite an existing friend, several people, or a whole private group directly into an active meetup.
Quick answer
Open Share Event, tap Invite friends, select a group or individual friends, and tap Invite. Each person receives a notification and inbox invitation.
Follow these steps

Open Share Event
Start or open the meetup you want people to join.

Tap Invite friends
Gatherpin opens your group shortcuts and friend list.

Choose people
Tap a private group or select friends one by one. People already in the meetup are unavailable.

Send the invitation
Tap Invite. Recipients can open the notification or inbox and join the event.
