How to leave a Gatherpin meetup
Leave when you have met your group and stop participating in the active event.
Quick answer
Open the active meetup, tap Leave Event, and confirm. Your location stops appearing and you leave that meetup’s map and chat.
Follow these steps

Check that you are finished
Make sure you no longer need the pin, ETA information, or meetup chat.

Tap Leave Event
Use the red control at the bottom of the active map.

Confirm the action
Gatherpin asks before removing you from the meetup.

Know that sharing has stopped
Your live position disappears from that event and is not retained as location history.
